Your kidding right? You think he's conscience got the better of him? It's about the shitstorm of bad publicity that GLAAD would bring down on his head and the heads of his sponsors.
Dana realized he was quickly going to get smacked in the only places he'll actually feel it...the media and his wallet.

I used to have a problem with Dana...but not as much anymore....but he needs to cut back on the cussing......you won't hear Bud Selig, David Stern, Rodger Goodell, or hell even Vince Mcmahon speak the way Dana did towards the media. I understand where he is coming from and agree with him....but he should know better.
Its time to change....he has a chance to be mentioned with all these other commissioners in other sports.

The media? Are you talking about they he has been talking to the media or are you talking about this one time? Because if you are talking about this one time he was not speaking with the media, he was speaking about 1 journalist who was making accusations towards the UFC about something she obviously didn't have all the facts about. Oh and the one comment to the anonymous source.
