Who helped Who, UFC wasn't Drawing Shit and PRIDEFC was making the serious push to the states before the Tito, Chuck Fued. They gave him the opp? Tito and Sal Garcia invented his persona and he was the UFC! Pre TUF, Chuck and Tito with the freak addition of Randy at 205 saved a sinking ship. They still never got the heavyweight div. up and running to snuff.

Its a slimey way for tito to mislead people in to believing he was mistreated. If he was mistreated then why not just quote your earnings before taxes like a normal person.

Endorsments

Tito gives himself all the credit in the world for the endorsement money he has earned. Tito deserves credit for being marketable but not for marketing himself.

UFC poored tons of money (and were in the hole $44Million while building up Tito) in to making the UFC and there stars successful. They also hyped tito by making him a coach on TUF and giving him multiple fights vs Shamrock. This increased Titos stock cause not only did he get good exposure but he got to clobber a big name on center stage multiple times.

If you don't think the UFC deserves credit for building up Titos ability to make tons of money I'll give you an example.

A sprinter wins some track meet in Europe for $50,000. Guess what that sprinter makes in endorsments? next to nothing

If that same sprinter wins a gold in the Olympics (center stage) he gets $0 but will be a millionaire in endorsments

UFC put Tito on center stage and gave him the opportunity to make Millions. In return he has lied about how much he has made and discredited them for helping make him a star.

What an asshole

Tito and a few other guys like Tank are what kept the UFC alive during the "dark ages" when the UFC almost went down the drain, you're giving way to much credit to the current owners who supposedly built Tito up when in reality Tito was already a big star. Maybe you can give some of that credit to Dana considering he was his manager before the Fertitas bought the UFC from SEG.

A sprinter and many other Olympic athletes whether famous or not so famous are sponsored by a variety of companies, so regardless if there at a tournament or in the Olympics there still getting endorsement money. Also, many countries pay there athletes quite a large sum depending on how they place. Im not sure what the Canadian figure is but some athletes have gotten 50-250K for gold medals and other bonuses for breaking world records.

Problem is, one of those guys (Dana) who I agree with, can lie, proved Randy Couture wrong (who we DIDN'T expect to lie) in a dispute about money.

I believe Dana on this one. I honestly think that Tito is pissed off that he is not who he used to be, and is trying to make a scapegoat of the UFC in this matter. And we all know Dana's personality, he won't put up with that shit.
