Dana fixing fights? Stupid!
A few people have mentioned the possibility of Dana fixing the two main events last night. That is stupid. Do you realize how much money Dana lost on Saturday night? Do you understand what a Chuck-Wand, Rampage-Rua card would have profitted Dana? The UFC will recover from their messed up plans....but think about it- if Dana wanted to fix fights, he would have made sure Chuck and Shogun both won!
However...I was thinking about this last night. Jardine and Forrest were huge underdogs. Huge! Do you know how money people made who had a parlay on Forrest and Jardine? But the character of Rua and Chuck is strong, and I don't believe they would throw a fight. Anyway, Rua hit Forrest with a huge elbow which opened him up, and Chuck cut Jardine and hit him with some good shots...and missed some really big shots....evidence to me neither fight was fixed.
