What a wimpy gym! Our gym has spikes in the Octagon and land mines in the grappling mats. And we make a bonfire in the center of the gym before every session.

Doesn't look excessively old school, that's how most local gyms are. It's only the Xtreme Couture's, Team Quest's, ATT's, etc. that have the nicer facilities. In fact, the setup of Marcus's gym looked EXACTLY like the first gym I ever trained in.

same here. You kinda get used to it in a while. We have no heat either, but the temperature in there is just perfect in there during the winter.
