Why did he wear different shorts? I remember he wore those same shorts against I believe Mark Hunt, but in that fight I think he also wore wrestling shoes if that's any significance.

Is there a reason he wore those shorts in those fights instead of his trademark shorts without the white trim, etc.

Also, they looked to be torn in the back, what was the deal with that?

I don't think they were torn. It looked more like someone had taken a black piece of fabric and safety pinned it over a logo or something on his shorts. It didn't make any sense and I'm still wondering what the hell that was all about.

Wouldn't a safety pin in a fight be dangerous? Isn't that the whole reason the refs inspect the fighters before they enter the octagon after their entrances?

Yeah I know a safety pin would be dangerous, I'm just throwing that out there, something was holding a black piece of fabric onto his shorts that was covering up a logo or something. You could see the black piece of fabric would move from time to time and you could make out a logo or SOMETHING underneath on CC's shorts. Your guess is as good as mine.

Maybe it was a logo then and that's the reason he wore those shorts. Maybe he had a PRIDE logo HAHAHA. Could have been held on by tape or something.

Is it just me, or does an advertisement on Mirkos shorts just seem blasphemous? Like a nun in a bikini or something? Just plain UNNATURAL.

Yeah, those are his pride shorts and the logo was covered up but started to peel off during the fight.
