Cro Cop Could Realisticaly still have a title shot

Even though I do not wish this on anyone, Cro Cop could still have a shot at the title if Gonzaga gets hurt within the months of training he will endur in preparing for Couture. If this does not happen I think the UFC should set up Cro Cop vs. Arlovski given cro cop's leg heals well. This is still in my eyes is a very big money making fight and above all else I still want to see it regardless and have ever since there was talk of arlovski leaving the UFC for Pride. What do you all think?

Acquiring Cro Cop is the best investment Dana and Company have made... People keep talking about how angry Dana must be the CC lost, but it's been a week and half and all of us are still going on about the (as of about two months ago) unremarkable HW division in the UFC. I'm betting the next HW championship fight will outsell the previous two (Sylvia/AA and Sylvia/Randy bouts) combined.

Crocop comming back and taking the title is totaly realistic. Rampage came to the UFC and his SECOND fight is a title fight and crocop still has, as we all know, at least FOUR fights left in his contract. He will come back, win his come back fight fight maybe one or two more bouts then take the title... unless he get RHK again

I think it really depends on Cro Cop and how dedicated he is to fighting. I mean this loss was a devastating one for sure. And now what was supposed to be a short sprint to the top of the ladder could possibly be a long and tough climb up the ever growing heavyweight mountain.

i was watching where mirko was on that tv show he traded with the postman, cro cop is a funny guy and if he plans his fights like his pranks he will be hw champ.

in that video he was showing some ground techniques and im not saying cro cop is rickson by a long shot but in the ufc a defensive ground game and waiting for the stand up isnt a good thing, maybe he should train some wrestling, helping him reverse takedowns or getting on top and gnp, and use power in his legs to get back up like chuck. i think fedor/randy/gonzaga have the best styles against cro cop and they figured out how to reduce the risk, if cro cop mixes it up more and does things different than before he can win.

He would need to be willing to extend his contract past 6 fights for him to get a title shot that wouldn't be his last fight

i thought crocop vs arlovski would be great too but someone on here mentioned crocop vs tim and i think thats a much better match up

With Big Nog, GG, Couture, Arlovski, Sylvia and Werdum, I haven't heard too many people talking about how unremarkable the UFC HW division is. Most of the chats have been about how stacked the UFC HW division is right now.

CroCop might still get a crack at the HW title, but with all the aforementioned fighters it is anything but unremarkable. Lets see who they throw at CroCop next.
