Could Bonnar fight for the UFC in CA or FL?

Since the NSAC suspended Bonnar for 9 months, would he be allowed to fight in a UFC event in California or Florida during that period? I know he's injured at the moment and couldn't fight anyway, but I just wondered if the athletic commissions in those states would allow him to fight during the time period he'd been suspended by another, or would they uphold the suspension and ban him. And I wonder if the UFC would face any repercussions from the NSAC if they allowed Bonnar to fight outside Nevada....

No, the other athletic commissions will acknowledge the suspension of the NSAC.

dont be so fast to say no. when nevade suspended mike tyson he was able to fight in a number of other states. so yes, he could if the UFC forked over the money to grease the wheels of the other athletic commissions

i think he could but the bigger question is would a promoter take the risk of putting him on a card this quickly with all the negative press he's gotten from getting busted cheating?!?!?

I can only speak for myself but I honestly have no desire to see his cheating ass fight again.

It won't happen for the same reason Pride won't use Nastula or Belfort until their suspensions are up. It would be a slap in the face to the NSAC, who they need to be friendly with. Also, the NSAC is one of, if not the most influential AC in the U.S., so, as someone said, the other AC's will uphold their ruling.

Does anyone really want to see him fight in the next 9 months. I think he really needs to improve his game. He is one of the few guys from tuf that has made no improvement at all since the show.

I also think the Tyson situation was a lot different because it wasn't a steroid suspension. I doubt the other atheletic commissions would let him fight.

I doubt the UFC will want to use him until his whole thing blows over.

If UFC wants to keep a good relationship with the NSAC, they might respect their wishes and show that they have a stance on steroid use
