Interview with PRIDE Bushido GP Fighter Joey Villasenor

Interview with PRIDE Bushido GP Fighter Joey Villasenor

Joey Villasenor has risen through the ranks of King of the Cage to become its Middleweight champion. He is even hailed as pound for pound, one of KOTC’s best fighters. Joey has not only gotten the attention of KOTC fans, but of other fight organizations. As Joey reveals in this interview, he has been invited to fight for Pride in a Welterweight Grand Prix. This is Joey’s chance to prove to the world that he has the skills and ability to fight with the world’s best welterweights. Joey took time out from training for his next fight and the tournament for an interview with MMAFighting.com and me.

i haven't seen him fight, but i wish him the best. chonan will be a real test for him though. anyone who can make Pride's welterweight division even more deep than it already is is a welcoming idea to me.
