GSP 1 minute after his loss: "i have no excuses, that was me 100%"

1 minute after losing to serra...

"i have no excuses. that was me 100%, i train very hard for this fight and i did not take him lightly. he beat me fairly squarely."

... but now suddenly he says he only trained for 2 weeks and took serra lightly.

honestly i think he trained extremely hard for that fight. during all the pre-interviews he kept saying "i have to train like i've never trained before" and "matt serra is the most dangerous man in the world to me right now"

I just think that GSP isn't as classy as everyone thinks he is. I think he is showing his true colors now that things aren't going his way.

He didnt want to take away the pride of winning from Serra. Itd be an ass thing to turn around right after you lose and say 'hey good job, but I didnt train at all for you, youre not as good as you might think'.

Nah, he definitely didn't train right for it. He didn't say that beforehand, because he didn't recognize how badly he was training. He didn't say that right afterward, because he didn't want to spoil the best night of Serra's life. He said it now because its the truth, and Serra needs to man up and not be so upset about it.

Maybe you should only use quotations if you're quoting him directly instead of paraphrasing? How about that?

To me it looked like GSP was having one of those days where he didn't want to go to work.

He's a young guy, he's made some mistakes and will probably make a shitload more. Get off his back... that is until next time he fights and by then everyone will have forgotten about these moments and go right back to their "WAR GSP!" posts or whatever the fuck. Makes me sick, I'm gonna go to sleep for the rest of the year.
