Awesome UFC

How bout some props for last nights UFC! I have seen almost every UFC since the first one live, and I have to say that was one of the best!

I know, I know; the main event was a bit anticlimactic, but all the rest of the matches were good to really good with only one being decided by the judges.

2006 has not produced many good UFC fights, but I think we are now turning the corner, and heading for the best six months ever in the UFC. I can't wait for the Penn Hughes fight; that will probably be the best of 2006. Then Liddel vs the axe murderer! That one's not going 5 rounds, and it probably won't even last two.

The fact is that someone in the UFC is going to lose their belt soon. Hughes, Liddel, and Franklin have all had their belts awhile, so one is bound to loose it; who will it be?

Can't wait to find out! It's nice to see the talent level in MMA finally exploding here in the US, like we all thought would happen 4 or 5 years ago.

I completely agree, interms of the UFC 62 was gr8. Best UFC in a long while, but best ever? Lets not jump the jump the gun. The main event went as most ppl thought.(most educated, I was for babalu but i called him gettin KTFO early) solid card from top 2 bottom, especially with the fact most ppl thought it sucked on papaer(myself included)

I thought UFC was worki every penny.....the only thing that would have made it better was if babalu could have held on a little longer and made more of a fight out of it

Babalu really went after Chuck and tried his hardest to initiate the clinch he needed. He forced Chuck to work, and Chuck responded with unbelievable counters. Otherwise, Babalu was about 1-2 seconds from getting his clinch. It didn't work out, but he did the only thing possible if he was going to win, and deserves credit. I give him some props myself.

Personally, I think Tito's GNP would be well advised to stay away from Babalu's submissions.
