No one is ducking anyone

I've said this in a few threads but no one seems to read this, im tired of the blind hatred from UFC fans that hate wandy and pride fans that hate dana. this is something that happens a ton in mma. scheduling problems. Wandy can't fight in september do to the move and setting up hisbrazilian figth league team. but chuck who wants to get back on track before his 50th birthday wants to fight twice this year. Dana offered 2 dates to wand 1 in september against chuck and 1 in november against someone else. on the phone wandys ppl said they would fight chuck but were confused about the dates being that they speak portuguese in brazil not english and when wandy picked november thus accidentally not fighting chuck dana got pissed becuase he has been trying to make this fight happen for 5 f'ing years. thats the truth guys. it makes the most sense it doesnt have any bias and its based on info i've gotten from chutebox usa no one is ducking anyone.

For real. This forum's gotta be filled to the top with kids that went through failed early childhoods at the hands of molester-ish parents. Go vent your anger hitting a wall with your head, no one needs 15 threads per day about how which fighter ducked whom and who the biggest pussy in mma is.

If that was the case then why is Silva saying on his site that the fight will happen in Nov? He is saying that him and Chuck will fight in Nov, check his site. If he was offered a fight against someone else in Nov then why is he saying the Chuck fight will happen in Nov? It just doesn't add up. I will post the reply I gave in another thread with what I believe went down.

OK, so here is the deal. Silva has been saying over and over again that he wants this fight more than anything else. He keeps saying that he has been the one that has been doing all the pushing to make the fight happen and that it has been Dana and Chuck who have not been willing to get it done.

1. Chuck went over to Pride in order to get a fight with Silva. Of course it didn't happen because he lost to Page but the effort was made by Chuck and Dana - going over to Pride to make the fight happen.

2. Dana made several attempts to work with Pride to get them to send Silva to the UFC to fight one fight against Chuck and Pride wouldn't do it. - Silva wasn't ducking the fight it was Pride that wouldn't send Silva here even after Chuck went to Pride.

3. Dana brought Silva over a year ago and announced the fight but again it didn't happen.

4. If Silva wants this fight as bad as he says he does - and that is pretty bad if you believe his website, then why does he have to wait two months? So what he is moving, if he wants to fight him so bad and he is offered the fight - then you take the fight!

5. Has anyone other than Silva say that there were two dates given to him to choose from? Why would Dana give him two dates to choose from when he needed a main event for the Sept PPV so bad?

IMHO - Silva was offered the fight for Sept. He told his handlers that he would'nt be ready to fight in Sept - for whatever reason. Maybe he is still trying to work on getting confidence back after getting KOd twice. Maybe he can't focus on training because of the move? I think it was both. His handlers then probably asked when he could be ready and then went back to Dana saying he could fight in Nov and Dana was pissed because his super main event for Sept was now off and wouldn't even coonsider another date at the time.

Anyway, its harsh to say that either fighter has ever ducked the other and its crap to say Dana doesn't want the fight he has made several attempts to make it happen.

Hopefully Dana can calm down and get the fight signed for Nov. Now everyone CALM DOWN!

Most of the people on this forum will use any excuse, even a language barrier to rag on fighters they don't like. Dana's immediate run to press and the finger pointing is hilarious and shallow.

yeah, retards here thing that matchmaking is like challenging some kid to a schoolyard fight. there are always other factors. schedule, money, career, etc.

on the other hand, i seriously doubt that wandy had 2 months notice for the majority of his pride fights. thus, even with the move, he would be in a better position to prepare than he normally would be.

You would think that the largest Production n the MMA right now would be able to crush all rumors and set this fight up. I do believe that it will work to the UFC's advantage when this fight finely takes place. All the anticipation of waiting for Chuck and Wand to fight will be forgotten and everyone will praise Dana White (undeservingly)for putting this fight together.
