chuck owned babalu in ufc 40

the other day i way reading an discussion and someone said that in thier first fight. babalu was destroying chuck until he got lucky with that head kick. the truth is that bablu barly landed a punch and didn't even come close to a takedown in tghe whole fight. chuck beat of him for almostg three minutes before ending the fight with that amazing kick. why does every think that bablu is such a great contender. and why do they think he is going to win in november. personally I think chuck is going to make another highlight reel with this fight. last time babalu got owned and he will get owned again in november. now chuck vs wanderlei will be interesting.

First off all they are not fighting in Nov they are fighting in Aug, second that kick was not amazing it looked really awkward. Sort of TIm vs Tra like. Although I cant remember the fight so well no one was winning that fight.

The entire video is available on 62.ufc.com. There wasn't a lot of activity before the knockout. Liddell was throwing some right hands, but didn't land anything devastating until that big kick. I personally think Sobral will do much better on the 26th.

that fight was about three years ago and they have both progressed as fighters. i see him working on his takedowns above anything else before this fight. he will take some punishment and get roughed up pretty good but he will get the takedown eventually and then proceed to have his way with the iceman.

there is no way you can compare chuck's kick with that awkward off balance kick that tim landed. if that kick had not landed tim would have ended up on his ass. also the only reason that kick did damage is because tim weighs alot. chuck was never off balace and it was an amazing kick that laid bablu out. your right i got chucck vs babalu and chcuk vs wandy mixed up they are fighting in august not november

ya Liddell was in control of that fight...but that was that fight at UFC 40...the pace will be different at UFC 62

1.) It wasn't an amazing kick. It wasn't even a good kick.
2.) People think Babalu is a great contender because they actually know what they're talking about. After the chuck fight he went on a 10 fight winning streak, defeating Shogun and Jeremy fucking Horn in the same night (3 fights that night).
3.) Last time he got owned, now he will get owned. Yeah, because rematches ALWAYS have the same outcome as the first fight. And fighters don't change / improve.

Whitebelts should not be allowed to start threads. Once again it has been proven.

I cried when Goose died
