**Chuck Liddell's Submission Prowess**

Was looking at my boy on the fight finder and I can't believe I never noticed this before (call me a noob if you want) The Ice Man has a legitimate submission win. So I did some searching and found the video.

It just goes to show that Liddell is such a well rounded fighter I mean look at the crisp way he takes this guys back, I'm surprised that the Gracie's don't give Chuck a blackbelt just for the finess.

On a side note for all the GTA IV fans, doesn't the guy yelling into the camera sound just like Brucie?

well... looks like he did a rear naked choke on a guy who didn't know how to defend it... doesn't really show his prowess...

I'm sure he has submissions, but he doesn't use them. We rarely even see him in a position where he needs to defend against submissions, so his adeptness in jiu-jitsu is still very questionable--no offense to Chuck Liddell, but it is. We saw his wrestling on display at UFC 79. The fight was excellent, but I nearly jumped out of my chair when Liddell shot in for that takedown and executed it brilliantly. But seeing Liddell submit another opponent would be like seeing the Pope take a shit on the Holy Bible; I don't see it happening.

Thanks. Me too, no matter what he's doing I'm screaming KNOCK HIS ASS OUT BABY WHOO! It's awkward when there's children around and I'm watching reruns of Conan and Chucks on there.
