The 36-year-old is known as "The Ice Man" because of his preternatural calm before big fights. But the fire he showed in discussing a potential matchup with Silva captured what many love about UFC.
"People say that if I would take him down, I'd have a big advantage," said [Chuck Liddell] the former college wrestler. "But that's not what anyone wants to see. So I'm going to go out there and knock his head off."

Chuck is a great fighter and i think wanderlei will get dominated after chuck walks through sobrol in 62. but the fight I really want to see is liddel vs. rampage jackson. the first fight was amazing and I think that rampage would have a great chance of winning again. but i think that the ufc rules would help liddel. unfortunately rampage if fighting for IFL and the ufc doesn't like them very much. so this fight will likely never happen but i will never give up hope. wanderlei vs. chuck will be one of the most entertaining fight ever to be televised. i look forward to it
