Trust me; when being deployed in Afghanistan, you spend most of your time extremely bored, missing your family, missing your home, your friends, etc. When there is any "action," it is really quite rare when compared to the amount of time you are there, but it is also scary as hell. You go from extreme boredom to extreme fear/adrenaline so fast that it taxes your constitution heavily. When guys like Carlos come over and do things like this, it really lets you forget about the shitty situation you're in for a while and just have some time off from your worries. I appreciate people like him.
