California has just lifted its ban on the sport and hosted its first legal mixed martial arts tournament.

Cali rejected Pride Rules and accepted UFC rules...shame on them...no Ring...no GIs (which I like)...no kicking a downed opponent..no 4 point attacks. I don't know if they want to host a show under those guidelines. It just isn't pride without the rules.
