Even as a fan of both fighters, I tire of this goddamn discussion. Almost no one adds any reasonable reasons why either fighter would win. It's always "Anderson would easily sub Manhoef!" or "Melvin would KTFO of Anderson!".

Manhoef is short and throw wide punches. Silva is tall, has more refined technique and longer reach + BJJ black belt.

Manhoef vs Silva would be cool to see but it is very unlikely that Melvin would win it.

Here's my thought about Manhoef vs. Silva. Silva has proven to have an awesome chin. I've seen both in many fights. If silva start losing the stand up game, he'd go to the group, period. He's not a stupid fighter. The thing is, anyone who is good enough on their feet to take Silva (only a handful of fighters today) is not nearly versed enough to hang with him on the ground. I don't see Silva getting 1 punch KO'ed by anyone; therefor, Silva would have ample time to work Manhoef to the ground and Sub him...Not claiming fact, just my opinion.
