Maybe because 3 out of his 4 fights were as a UFC HW?
Dunno. He had a long career kickboxing and in savte but limited career in MMA

This was something the world needed to see, I'm glad it happened. A lot of McDojo's went out of business, due to the fact that some of those fighters represented styles and instructors that were using techniques that may have their place in self defense, but didn't work in the Octagon.

Octagon is an interesting arena for sure, a lot of fighting styles assume you're not in an enclosed space.

I remember watching those first UFC tournaments with my Dad and his friends. My mom used to yell and tell me to get out of the room. Fun watching that again.
