I don't care for old UFC that much. I can go down to the bar start some shit and see a brawl/street fight. I have to watch modern UFC, Pride, DREAM, etc. to see the world's best conditioned, best trained, best technical fighters out there.

Someone posted this recently in another thread and I can't resits posting it again. No it's not about brutality but it is about old school UFC and a true legend of the sport.

That was an awesome fight. I can't believe that Gung Fu guy was doing all of that JJ. That was a long a$$ time ago. Didn't he lose to Royce by armbar in UFC 2?

"human cockfighting" at its best. Those were the good ol' days, but I wouldn't want the UFC to go back to that. This is proof for all those MMA haters out there that this sport has evolved tremendously and the fighters of today are the best athletes and fighters in the world.
