I don't think it's necessarily his knowledge, he just says really stupid things sometimes.

Actually he mentioned it like once, the rest wsa other people i think. I do remember when it is brought up he also mentions that Brett schooled him for the rest of the time.

Apparently McCray didn't know who Josh Thomson was, either, which is inexcusable since he was a high level prospect in the UFC at one point. At least with Paul Daley, the excuse is that he's an overseas fighter. But that's pretty bad as well.
