Thank you for that.

A definite oversight on my part.

its great to see that the rest of the top 7 have equal, or more, top wins than Fedor and more recently...but of course he's still number one.

Also worth noting is that the two Heavyweights Fedor has beaten from this list are also the two Heavyweights who have had the largest number of top Heavyweight fights (Nogueira with 9 fights, going 6-3 and Cro-Cop with 8 fights, going 4-4. The only other Heavyweight to have 8 fights was Ricco, who went 3-5.

For those of you who have not followed MMA very long, this list may contain some information that is surprising, like Arlovski only being 2-4 against top fighters or that Gonzaga's win over Cro-Cop was basically his only significantly noteworthy MMA victory.)

Thoughts, Corrections, Concerns?

Pretty good list, and great effort, thanks.

Its absurd to have Mirko below Kongo and Gonzaga though. Regardless of what anybody says, he has achieved far more than those guys and one loss each to them shouldn't be enough for them to be above him.

They haven't beaten anybody else anywhere near his status, so imo, he should still be above them due to a FAR, FAR, FAR better body of work throughout his career.

What am i not seeing. Kongo got owned by Merrero who was in turn owned by Gabriel "no gas" Gonzaga

Kongo is 4-1 in the UFC with his last victory being over top 10 Cro-Cop.

His loss against Carmello hurts him, but his other victories have made up for it.

It was a close loss due to lack of takedown defense. Being that he's now teamed up with Rampage, I imagine he is fixing this discrepancy.

The list is for records against top 20 HWs currently. Marrero is not sniffing the top 20.

TS. Nice job, don't worry about going back and putting guys that are ranked at the time (like Gan), keep it simple and with guys relevant to todays mma.

Bob Sapp???????? He brokeded my nose.

Bob Sapp???????? You know what, he called out Fedor on HDNet tonight, so if he ever fights him and manages to win, we can make him an honorary HW and consider him the best of all time. Just for the Hell of it, lol.

I see your point man, I really do. If I was ranking HW careers, I would put him in the top 5. Its just that he's lost his last 2 fights against fighters who were unranked at the time and that really hurts his ranking in my eyes.

I hope what Cro-Cop says is true and that he'll rack up a win or two in DREAM before returning to the UFC.

I'd love to see him against Kharitonov in DREAM for his second fight there.
