In short, I think Kennys just too well rounded right now
A sub wouldn't shock me either.

I agree. Although Huerta definitely has the advantage in wrestling, but I think Kenny's BJJ and smart game plan would be able to neutralize that.

I would take Huerta. His strikes have great speed and pinpoint accuracy. His inside leg kicks are menacing and he's underrated on the ground. Just a total fucking animal.

Huerta is an animal, but he is too wild and its just not his time. Give him a few years and he will be a contender.

It's interesting, as big of a Kenny Florian fan as I am and as much as I do generally favour him in this matchup, I can't necessarily see a clear way for him to beat Huerta.
The wrestling advantage will be a factor, but Kenny's proven to have good takedown defense and of course his bottom game is good enough to at the very least survive. But I don't think Huerta is susceptible to being submitted in that position, so it's about nullifying. And maybe the hated elbows, where Kenny actually does damage from the bottom. (Personal pet peeve how people complain about a guy who's actually delivering blows and not hanging on. However.)
This might end up being a good fight to showcase his striking skills. Technically he's more sound than Huerta, who packs a punch.. but I think by now Kenny's shown a good chin.
I think Kenny probably has a cardio edge as well, and especially with the Sherk fight under his belt will know to trust in it - but again, a bit tempered by the fact that Roger himself has very good conditioning.
Mostly, I just see it as a pretty spectacular matchup.

Your right, but I think the last fight exposed his takedown defense... maybe he just had an off night. Power punch and wrestling are huertas only advanatges in ther fight.
Florian is a very disciplined fighter who will not finish huerta but will UD him.
