Brandon Veras Words " That Ref Sucks"

im a huge brandon vera fan but if he knew there was 15 seconds in the round he shoulda rolled to his stomach and fought off the choke for the last couple seconds instead of taking shots to have the bout stopped.

I thought the stoppage was justified in the Vera fight. I bet I am in the minority though.

Actually Vera has no one to blame but himself... He didnt buck his hips, roll over or show any signs of an attempted escape.

He needs to stop leaving his fights in referee's hands and FINISH his opponents. I dont dislike him as a fighter but I am really getting tired of his excuses and mouth...

Vera clearly lost round 1, I don't see why we would need a rematch. The fight was stopped a little early but you can't just roll into a ball and hope for the best.

There's no way Vera was getting out of that mount in the last 20 seconds which is still a lot of time.

People don't really complain about the GSP/Serra stoppage even though Vera was in a much more dangerous position than Serra was.
