If you roll into the foetal position and let the other guy punch you 26 times without responding you are going to lose the fight.

Would you really, in all honesty want it any other way? Would you really want the fighters to know if they cover up and roll into a ball that the fight wasn't going to get stopped and they had a nice break to recover?

That stoppage was HORRIBLE shouldnt even be a question Vera was avoiding any serious damage....he was never hurt at all.

I find the fanboys here to be absolutely amazing... I am assuming you guys know the rules right?

Both fighters agreed to the rules before the match, he had to know what was going to happen if he didn't move and got pounded on like that.

he wasn´t defending himself intelligently . that is enough to the ref. stop the fight. Werdum was pounding his face at will.

He got his guard passed quickly and put up weak defense. Blame has to fall on Vera.

i watched it today on mmascraps, the comentry was in french or sum shit so iturned the sound off and listened to music, i also didnt see the post fight interviews and i didnt think it was a bad stoppage at all
