Brandon Vera will destroy Frank Mir and maybe Chuck too

I used to think Frank Mir was good, like when he broke Tim's arm and even before when he beat so many tough fighters, but if he fights Brandon Vera, he better train harder than he's ever trained... I doubt he will though because he's washed up and too messed up from his accident. Brandon Vera is way to much for Mir and that's a shame that this fight will be the end for Mir. Brandon Vera is the truth... On another note, if you go to the cityboxing website, you can here a good Vera interview. He says he wants to fight Chuck, and he will keep kicking him and taking him down. Check the link http://www.cityboxing.com/

I agree that presently Vera is still too much for Mir to handle . However, give Mir a few more fights, and it could be a different story. I also dont think Vera is good enough to take out Chuck but I could be wrong.

Hopefully Mir will actually get his head out of his ass and train like his career depends on it, because in this case it does. He is going to be facing a solid fighter in Vera who is excellent on his feet and good on the ground. Obviously Mir will look to take it to the ground and he will also be a lot bigger than Vera, but if he comes in out of shape and looking sloppy like he did against Christonsen, Mir will be in trouble. There is no doubt that Mir is a great talent with amazing potential, but he has not shown the drive or the desire to be the best. he needs to find that if he wants to get past Vera, and if he loses, he is going to be hard pressed to find another fight, especially if he looks bad doing it

No, he is one of the few that was not on reality television. Mir is headed for a beatdown.

He says he will be the first fighter to hold the UFC Heavyweight belt and the Light Heavy at the same time... and I believe him.

Vera may well be the guy to expose the UFC's heavyweight division; he's got very good standup, though his ground game hasn't really been tested in the UFC. Mir is a great test for him. The winner of this fight should fight Arlovski or Sylvia, he will be the number 2 or 3 heavyweight in the company.
