Boxing vs. MMA
I'm getting so sick and tired of all the boxing vs. MMA shit. If you haven't heard, Bernard Hopkins started spouting off about MMA and dogging it today. Look it up if you haven't seen it. I want to like Boxing, and I want to like MMA, and I don't like these media shitbags pitting them against eachother.
Boxing at its purest is a beautiful sport. When you get big guys standing in the ring just pummeling eachother, its still beautiful, but some would call it barbaric.
MMA can be real technical, or real brutal as well. And I like it both ways (MMA, not sexually of course). Boxing is called the sweet science, and MMA includes "martial arts". I don't think they called it art by accident.
Here's the key thing about MMA vs. Boxing that I wish people would realize. Boxing is included in MMA. That means that the sport of boxing is one aspect of MMA. So that means boxers calling MMA shit, is like sprinters or javelin throwers calling Decathletes shit. Or sprinters saying football wide receivers have no skill. Or those guys who do those longest drive tournaments saying golf has no skill. Or designated hitters saying positional players have no skill, cause they don't just hit, but also field. Couldn't think of a great example, but you get the point. It's just retarded.

Here we go again.
The 2 sports are so dissimilar. Why keep comparing them at all?

Guess you missed the part where Hopkins said the worst MMA fighter would beat his ass.

You are being a little misleading since B-Hop went on to say that any MMA fighter could whoop his ass.
