No Contest Question!

Recently in the fight between emerson and maynard, maynard was out cold during and after the fight as you all prob know.
But this made me think bout the newton- hughes fight. this was a very similar situation with both men not being able to physically continue. Im not hating but should it not have been a no contest as well....

Yeah, somebody better go back and change that decision. It's only been like 4 years.

I agree. Even after Hughes "won" he was a little shaky.

the thing was, gray KO'd himself, and was obviously out accoriding to the ref (who's call it was to make) steve M. in the hughes fight, you see newton get power bomed, and though hella groggy, hughes wasn't out, he was still like istting there, so he appeared awake.

Remember emerson wasn't KO'd like newton was, so he was still awake as well

Newton got slammed on his head, and no question he was out.

That's why there are 2 dif decisions
