Bonnar was extremely nervous

I donīt plan to take any credit away from Forrest, he deserve it all, but the first thing that came to my mind watching the fight was that Forrest had fought in 3 fights in a larger crowd, while Stephan was making his debut in the big show. Donīt get me wrong, UFN crowds are quite good, but they are not anywhere near the MGM, Mandaly Bay, even less the Pond in Anaheim.

I felt that Stephan was very very nervous at least in the begining of the figth, and I understand it. I mean , come on, you go from fighting in crowds of 2000 people, and suddenly you are in a co-main event in the Mandaly Bay, in a fight that so many people expected so much from.

Anyway, my hat off to those guys, they now how to win, now how to loose, theyīre funny even in the worst moments to be so, and actually it is funny to see all that hot chicks in the PPV, that probably donīt have any idea what UFC is, and that probably are the ones that boo the hell out of everyone who isnīt called Chuck Liddell.

UFC should give Bonnar one more shot if he wins he stays if he losses he leaves i think Bonnar should fight Josh Haynes if he stays LHW or Rob Macdonald

Bonnar had alot on the line in this fight. I think that got to him more than the crowd. He's pretty much at a dead end in the UFC now.

Agreed. Let him fight Haynes, that would be a nice match up for him....and yes, Stephan looked very nervous, almost scared against Forrest.

Bonnar is also coming off a couple decisons are seemed to have a lack of confidence that showed in the first round. Griffin looked very confident and in control in the early goings.

It was funny when Bonner fell against the fence for nothing.

I wasn't sure if it was scared or just frustrated and desperate. He seemed to be backing away from Forrest alot during the fight...which surprised me. In the first fight, he wasn't afraid to get in the pocket with him. But Forrest's striking has definitely improved...he was catching him with some good shots. His striking was much cleaner and accurate in this fight.

Bonnar didn't seem to have any coherent fight plan. Throw some flashy spinning back kicks, switch his stance to lefty to confuse Forrest, and hope to get in a lucky shot. Never at any point, does he go for a takedown or try to get into a clinch even though he's clearly losing the standup and Forrest is dictating the pace. Bonnar right now, lacks conifdence, he hasn't been impressive period when you really look at his fights.

On Tuf, Bobby Southworth either won their fight or at the very least pulled out a draw. Mike Swick was winning their fight until Bonnar lucked into an armbar with 2 seconds left. His most impressive fight was Griifin Bonnar I, which he lost. Unimpressive decision victory agaisnt Sam Hoger. Sub victory against a clueless James Irvin and the world's slowest evolving Kimura. A controversial decision win against Keith Jardine that most observors gave to Jardine. Totally manhandled by Rashad Evans, who took him down at will. And now, this lackluster effort.

Bonnar is a good looking studly guy with well rounded skills and can deliver a decent interview. Problem is, he's not championship material. He's well rounded, but not really all that good at anything. He has no fight stoppages due to strikes in his last 9 fights. He has only one TKO in his career, so why the hell this guy thinks he's a slugger is beyond me.

The guy is not a banger, but keeps on fighting as though he was one. He should be looking for the takedown and utilizing his jits, but instead he fights like a meathead at a tough man contest.
