They said that his families boat had just pulled out onto the water, and a T-shirt blew off of the boat. Gilbert dove in to retrieve it, and didn't resurface. Freak accident kind of a thing. Right in front of his kids though, now thats f'd up.

i remember reading about his drowning but didn't know his body wasn't recovered. I don't want to imagine his wifes reaction when she id's at the morgue.
