Demian Maia vs Marvin Eastman

Who do you think takes this? I am kinda leaning towards Maia, his ground game is sick! But I don't know much about Eastman on the ground. Does anyone know what his ground game is like?

Eastman's ground game is sorely lacking in relation to Maia (obviously, I guess.)

Maia is masterful at getting the back. Eastman will have no answer to takedowns if Maia's not shooting in as he would usually expect.

However, Eastman's obviously light years ahead in terms of striking. He'll have to hit hard and fast though, otherwise I see Maia RNCing him.

How good are Maia's takedowns? I know Eastman is strong as hell, and used to fighting guys at 205, so he should be hard to get to the ground.

I heard Eastman was very fatigued after cutting weight for his last fight at 185. Marvin is usually a fast starter, and has a good chance of taking this one if he comes out throwing bombs. But if he has issues cutting weight again, then he'll probably lose this one on the ground.

Sounds like if Maia has any kind of chin, he is gonna win this on the ground. Pretty much what i thought. I just wasn't sure if Eastman was a blackbelt in BJJ or not.
