everyone could be a "prodigy" if they had private classes from gracie`s.. dont overhype him. fighter who hasnt real training and still did good are prodigys.

Only one of two people to win UFC titles in 2 different weight classes.

His 9-1-1 LW record with wins over Gomi, Sherk, Uno, Serra, Pulver, Joe Daddy and Thomas is pretty gaudy as well.

At the time of his training towards his black belt, he was competing in divisions above his "belt" and was winning. He earned his black belt faster than normal...even by Brazillian standards. Hence...the nickname.

Being a black belt in BJJ doesn't mean he is un-beatable. We have all seen BJJ Black Belts get beat at one time or another. There is so much more you have to do to compete at the level he does. Based on his last couple of fights...he is not relying on talent alone and that is a good thing.
