Icon8 bJ STILL HAS TO PROOVE he is the Prodigy

Bj still has to prove that he is as good as advertised now that he is “Living and training like a champion”. If he cleans out the LW Division and wins a possible rematch with GSP Then he will deserve all the hype and live up to the hype. Dogger Thought?

You should look up the definition of prodigy. I don't think you understand what it means.

I thought that he had that nickname because he was the fastest American to ever earn a BBJ blackbelt? That doesn't always translate into success in competition though. The same could go for any up and comer in any sport. They may learn fast and have all the tools, but fail when the pressure is on. So far, I think he has done pretty well.

he's a two-time champ with only 11 years of fight based training. I'd say he's living up to it. All prodigy's have a downfall such as laziness, alcohol, over-eating etc... Or a nemesis.
