They're probably the top lightweight contenders in the UFC LW division. Sherk has had 1 fight in the LW and BJ has none.
Who do you see winning over the other? On Sherk's last fight, he was unimpressive but he also came in injured. BJ, on the other hand, hasn't fought a fight in the LW division yet.

Only bj is the contender, being Sherk is already champ.
And BJ is no stranger to the LW scene, not by a long shot.
Would be a good match though. Sherk has powerful td's and BJ has that nutty td defense. Sherks strength could help him out of a lot of subs, but BJ is pretty damn slick.
They are both great fighters but I think this question easily is answered in the fact that BJ hasn't fought at 155 in a while, especially against a tough opponent like Sherk. Sherk is a monster at 155 so I have to give him the edge for now, or atleast until we can see bj fight at 155. Either way though, bj is a tough guy and has shown that he can put up a hell of a fight no matter what the weight division is
