BJ Penn ducked Karo...three times?

Interesting interview by Parisyan where he says that he challanged BJ Penn three times and he declined for some reason. He doesn't think that BJ was scared or anything, but it's interesting why BJ declined Karo 3 times, maybe he thinks karo is a bad matchup for him?

Good to see Karo taking his diet and training seriously for this fight, and the good thing is that he's not underestimating Diego and is taking it seriously. But the way he calls him "tough kid" you just get the feel that he'l really confident about this fight.

He says he only wants to fight the best. He has nothing to prove beating Karo down. I saw an interview where he calls out Wandy, he doesn't care who he fights win or lose. He likes to just scrap more than anybody.

That's not what he said, he stated that BJ declined to fight him 2 times, the first time was because he wanted to fight the winner of Sherk vs GSP, he said he didn't know the reason BJ's camp declined to fight him the 2nd time. BJ would not 'duck' Karo.

its real obvious if u know bj and his personality, he doesnt like to fight people that are not consideered the BEST, is karo the best?? hell no, and bj penn only wants to fight top quailty oponents, its how he gets pumped, beating karo would prove nothing........... thats why.........

I would love to see Karo dominate.... as much as I like to see diego and his christian back ground and his humble unorthadox for the UFC ethics... I think Judo is just a beautiful style

So if my mom challenges Fedor and he declines, can I then assume that is ducking her? Maybe Penn is "ducking" Karo because he has nothing to prove by beating him and he would rather fight the best fighter that is available for him.Its so silly when an inferior fighter calls out a top guy and then says he's ducking him for not accepting the fight..ie Baroni/Shamrock. Baroni/Franklin, Karo/Penn.

are you out of your mind, Karo is one of the best definately top 4. He'l only ranked under BJ because he beat Hughes. But if you look at both of their fights with GSP you can see that Karo did a better job than BJ. BJ's only advantage over karo is striking but he can NEVER KO him. Karo is better than BJ, period!

i heard that interview a few days ago and karo sounds like the cockiest piece of shit in it...he makes excuses for his loss to GSP numerous times in the interview and then tries to cover it by saying i take nothing away from him he deserves all hes got...so then stop making excuses then

and he goes on to say "im not trying to say hes ducking me but bj turned down a fight with me twice" so hes saying it but trying to cover his ass by saying "im not trying to say"

diego is gonna mop the floor with him
