Best post regarding G.Jackson's camp and why the fight went the way it did.
"His fighters play to their strengths to win fights under the ten point must system. The ten point must system is endemic to boxing and does not fit with what MMA was originally intended to be. This is what Rorian Gracie has been saying for years since the sport was adapted from its original incarnation, "that the guy who wins isn't always the best fighter, he is the guy who wins under the rules."
Some people have bought into what MMA has become and appreciate what Condit did on Saturday, others are frustrated by this and want fighters to do their best to decide the fight without the judges. The guys who brought this sport to prominence (Chuck, Wand, Fedor, Anderson Silva, CroCop, Rampage, Forrest vs. Bonnar, etc.) came from a different era, and didn't take the play it safe and win by decision approach, and that is why the sport is where it is now."

I decided to post this because there are many fans who are upset by the way the fight went/was scored and many others who take the elitist stance as if there is nothong ever that can be improved in the rules/scoring system
