Chonan's rolling heel hook against Anderson Silva is a very famous one.

Gil Castillo actually finished a fight with an omaplata, which I don't know if anyone else has done (in MMA). The gif. is on post #6.

Ive never seen someone subbed with an omplata in pride/ufc?

I second that sir, whenever a "Best Submission" thread pops up, that is always my answer. The submission itself was good but the fight up to that point and how it happened made it great.

Pretty sure Alberto Crane finished someone with an omapata, i could be wrong though.
