Benji Radach Knocked Out?

Hey guys, on the SDS Savage said something about Benji Radach getting knocked out by some kid off the street in a challenge match. Does anyone know anything about this and whether or not there are vids floating around a la Koschck v. tough street fighter dude.

That was Danny Lafever. Not sure on the details. I've heard he jumped into the cage and it was impromptu but that doesn't make much sense. More likely what happened was he challenged Benji and it was set up on a card. A lot of people believe this completely destroyed Benji's confidence and caused him to squander much of his potential. Looking at his record, I would tend to agree.

Looking at his record you tend to agree? considering his last two fights he won within one minute, and the other via tko over mcgivern. how do you say so?

I had heard teh Radach fight was over a girl. This happened a long time ago. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the 'dude off the street' is/was a pro boxer also?

no he's not. he trained boxing, but was never a pro boxer. he got a punchers chance, thats it. he was offered 10 grand to fight radach again, but he never took it.
good thing he never did, cuz benji woujldn't have messed around and took it to him.

the man basically stopped fighting, that's how.

Look at his record, how frequently he fought prior to that, and how he basically went away for a while....

at one point, Radach was considered top-10 at his weight.....then he fell off the face of the earth..the injuries had a lot to do with that though...

it is great to see him back...
