Randy Couture UFC 79 Picks - WTF Happened?

Randy has been pretty good at picking MMA fights over the years, but I stumbled on his picks for UFC 79.

http://www.mmafightline.com/news/200...e_312142.shtml

He was 1 out of 5, with the 1 correct pick being the GSP win (who didn't see that coming?). This coming from the guy who predicted Gonzaga would beat CroCop and Forrest would defeat Shogun.

Just thought I'd pass it on......

Not being backstage and interacting directly with the fighters may make it harder to pick winners

I think this is the most likely of reason for his shitty picks.

No matter how well you understand MMA it is very hard to always have good nights of picks.

Honestly i think he subconsciously voted with his heart out of spite. His votes were of the "in the worst interest for the UFC" kind.
