Bas Rutten story...

I read this on MMAWEEKLY. Pat Militech was telling a story of how Bas got into it with Urlacher from the Bears. He was at a fund raiser and was playing the drums and singing songs and accidently stepeed on Urlachers shoe. Apparently he got pissed and bas appolagized 3 times for it and turned to walk away. Then Urlacher shoved him and was picking a fight. Bas told him normally it was 3 strikes and your out but this is a charity event and we are suppossed to act like gentleman. Urlacher had no idea who Bas was and was trying to clown him and people were laughing. Then he asked Bas if he would like to take this outside. Bas said he would like that very much. And then the bouncers stepped in and explained what was about to happen and who Bas was. Then Urlacher was apolagizing and kissing Bas's ass.

Man Bas would have mad a complete ass out of him! Thats how you know when someone is for real. They don't look for fights and are always polite. Not these wanna be tough guys who start shit and get all loud. They need an audience to validate themselves. A real man needs no such things. Lesson to be learned, watch out for the quite guys when your out. They are useually the ones that know their shit. Same thing goes when your reading posts. The loud mouths always show us they don't know anything when they start trying to "flame" or "own" people. Don't be fooled by how many posts someone has to determine what they know. Maybe they just don't spend alot of time on the computer like others.

WAR BAS!!!!!!!!!!!

great story. I like Bas' "normally, 3 strikes and you're out" rule.

WAR BAS!!!!!!!!!!!

On Bas Rutten's "Lethal Street Defense" DVD he tells how he kicked Polar Bear Varleans ass and threw him through a window. And also how some Detroit Lion line-men attempted to grab Bas from behind, and the line-men suffered a similar fate.

Don't fuck with that crazy dutch-man. He's for real.

Bas Story

I'm sorry that someone else posted it. I didn't hit search and I never said it was breaking news. I just was saying what I read and how I can relate to what happened to Urlacher. Also I wanted to point out that to many people judge based on appearence. I guess you missed that. If you already read the story why did you feel the need to post a reply like that? Not trying to be an ass but why post a comment like that. Why not say "I read that too". It can't be breaking news if I read it on MMA Weekly. Just comment on the stry not how there is already a thread about it. Sherdog is full of the same arguments over and over again. I'll bet you already know that though. We all do. But thanks for posting

Sub in 1:45 sec. Kimo is in done. Great fighter but never was that good at stopping subs. And Bas is a complete fighter. Getting old but a complete fighter.

I never get tired of that story.

I guess similar things could happen to Fedor for example, he does not look all that tough, so the local tough guy would probably think he could take Fedor easily.

I'd like to see anyone try.
