bad time to be cocky
is it just me or are all the cocky fighters losing???
lets take a look
Wanderlei
Guillard
Tim Silva
Randelman
Colman
Ortiz
Griffen
Gomi
Hughes(when he lost to GSP)
now Diaz's win turns to a NC

now lets look at the other side of the spectrum

Its just coincidence. Anyone can lose, theres always a punchers chance.

Cocky fighters IMO are more open to getting clipped with a freak punch though. Thats what happens if you underestimate fighters.

All good fighters are cocky. You have to have supreme confidence in yourself to step into a ring, let alone to be one of the best. The guys you list just show it differently.

being cocky is a sign of insecurity . being confident and humble is a different thing.
