Come on people!! Lesnar has 1 MMA fight and you're already calling him championship material.
He needs to be tested first and EARN a title shot, this isn't the WWE where size and potential alone makes you a main eventer.
I agree that any PPV he's on will bring money since alot of pro wrestling fans will tune up, but to put him with Couture right of the bat? That's crazy and unfair to all HWs in the UFC.

Lesnar would be a big money draw for the UFC and would make Randy some extra cash

Put it this way, regardless if hardcore MMA fans like it or not, Randy vs Lesnar would be a HUGH PPV and given Randy reportedly gets a % of PPV buys in his contract I'm betting he'd LOVE to fight Brock.

Lesner is training with Royce Gracie. He has an amazing amature wresting record, which Dana commented would be plenty for him to get into the UFC.

No way would he get a title shot straight off, he would have to climb the ladder just like everyone else. Just because he is good enough to compete doesn't mean he is good enough to be the champ.. yet.

Lesnar does not train with Royce. He trains with Sherk's camp. He stated that he never really got to train with Royce in an interview.

Guys like Lesnar have no place in a sport thats trying to gain acceptance.

It's like a circus clown joining the NFL.
Good, then GTFO of MMA you fucking baby. Pride did this shit ALL THE TIME and so does every other organization. Fucking K-1 had Lesner with NO MMA experience. Pride had guys like Zuluzinho (1-0), Henry Miller (0-0), Rulon Gardner (0-0), Giant Silva (0-0), etc, etc, etc. So fuck off you baby.

Fans don't make MMA a joke, YOU'RE a joke. Fans are idiots everywhere in every sport. It makes themselves look stupid, not the sport. Take yourself as an example. You make zero sense and you're a little baby.

Moving on from the idiots on here... No, Lesnar should not get a title shot. Have him fight some sub-par fighter like most new entries get. Then move him up against someone he matches up well against stylistically. Then if he is still winning give him a step up fight but not top level competition. If he wins that and is 3-0, then give him a top level guy. If he wins that and is 4-0 in the UFC, give him a title shot THEN. It won't happen though, he'll take a loss somewhere along the way.
