He's a solid fighter, and I'm glad to hear that he's gonna get another crack a the UFC. He beat Valentijn Overeem with a sick heel hook. I liked him from then on.

I thought he got somewhat screwed in his fight with Slvyia. He seemed to have a couple of take downs going on when Tim grabbed the fence and of course John McCarthy who does seem to play favorites (see Tank, Frank Shamrock) let it go...

cool, i like silva. i think it's safe to say he has more pure skill than tim sylvia.. it's just really hard to deal with a guy that size, especially when they're grabbing the fence

I like Silva, but what a pointless fight. He's already beaten this guy, and why does Scherner get another shot? He didn't look that good against Vera at UFN 2.

The UFC Heavy weight division gets a lot of heat. But this isn't the same 2005 division.

That ISN'T bad... It is improving. Sure, it isn't PRIDE. But given a year. The UFC has caught up a lot since 2005.
