UFC 5min rounds vs 10min.

Will we ever see 10 minute rounds? or no time limit fights in UFC? 5 min rounds really are sucking these days, its not hard to avoid a submission for 5 mintues, unless you have Penn or Lister trying to tap you out, you may as well get all roided out, and start pounding and kicking for 5 minutes cuz you arent going to submit anyone that fast anymore. 10 min rounds and youd see a whole new group of champs

They tried no time limits, but that doesn't really work with ppv. I would prefer to at least see the first round be 10 min. It give's the fighters much more time to get into the fight and work there game plan

UFC did have no limits, then for a while 10 min rounds I believe....maybe 15, I'm not sure.

The point is, the commisions wont sactions anything more than 5, so its a moot point.

I disagree with not being able to tap someone in 5 mins as well. Depending on the circumstances, a sub can end a fight as quick as a KO.

Really avoiding a submission for 5 minutes isn't hard? Actually a lot of people would disagree with that fact. Especially those fighters submitted in the first round. In fact the shorter first round tends to drive a higher pased fight. If you like no limits try to watch the following fights Severn vs. Shamrock II, Gracie vs. Shamrock II, Severn vs. Kimo, Renzo Gracie vs. Kikuta, Royler Gracie vs. Sano and there are pleanty more examples of these types of fights. In fact most the good fights in the no limit days ended within the first 5 minutes.
