Talking like this, hype and all that, generally a good idea.
If he can get Dana to buy what he's selling he gets more money.

The UFC needs a fighter of Ricardo Arona's caliber but most of his fights ended in decision victories and the UFC wants exciting fighters who'll kick ass to win, not do enough just to win.

arona with elbows would be very effective. ufc rules are perfect for L&P. he wpould trap people against the fence and elbow their heads off.

I didn't care for Arona much before, after those comments I am changing my mind fast. He's probably right. All of us are reaching for answers as to why some former pride fighters are struggling in the ufc, maybe it's the roids. I mean pride was a refuge for every former ufc champ/fighter that failed a test right...Josh?
Besides he is right about his chances in the ufc, it favors his style big time and I think he would make more exciting fights than in pride because he could use the elbows. I hope Dana sees that and signs him.

Thats what I was thinking, is he really planning on destroying people he faces or pulling the LnP technique. I think the rules do work well for Arona. I could picture arona smothering people and using the elbows well. The talk about steroids is funny too, Arona is a tank, he obviously believes others he has faced before, probably shogun were juicing.
