The ufc is standing fights up more than in the Tito's years, but Arona would still be a force for sure.

I think he could be more exciting with elbows and not having to fear knees after failed TDs.

I think the main reason I'd want to see it, is that even during Pride's hay day I was of the opinion that the wrestling was far better in UFC because of being based in the US (which has a different style than Japan). I think that most folk in the UFC's upper echelon are decent wrestlers and anti-wrestlers.

Arona is right about the rules, on a side note I think this is why Shogun will not dominate the LHW in the UFC ever. His game revolved around knocking ppl down and soccer kicking and stomping them. I don't think he will be a force in the UFC.
