I think most people here know what they know about mma from reading others posts and not watching the fights themselves. This is a site full of 14 year olds who copy what "vets" talk about but exagerate it and add their own disrespectful comments. Now to look at a few Arona fights!

Fedor - Classic fight, one of the best of all time even though theres no punching. Add to that he almost beat Fedor and some say he did. Fedors only true loss?

Wanderlei Silva - Pretty exciting if you ask me watching Arona avoid those fists.

Shogun - Great fight and one of my personal favorites. I love seeing Arona make the stupid face as he gets knocked out!

Sakuraba - Great fight even though Arona cemented himself as a bad guy.

Dean Lister - Havent seen it but Dean is a pretty one demensional grappler.

Rampage - Possibly another greatest fight of all time, see where we are headed here?

Dan Hendeson- Great fight I can watch over and over. Some very nice escapes from both guys.

Guy Mezger - Very technical match, typical Guy Mezger match that goes to a dec. not bad if you enjoy a technical match.

Jeremy Horn - Horn is a very careful (very skilled) fighter, he rarely puts on a slugfest though.

Ninja - Another one of my favorite fights with one of the smoothest throws I've seen. Really shows off Ninja's cardio.

Now do one of you mma scientists wanna explain to me how Arona is a boring fighter? I expect some of you kids to say "he just lies on top of his opponents blah blah blah" but really when you look at his record he's one of the best to step in thr ring right up there with Wandy and Fedor. I look forward to every Arona fight!

The two most exciting fights I've seen that I got up out of my seat were the ones he lost in. QJ powerbombing him Undertaker style and Shogun bitching slapping him when he was on his back. I won't lie, both were entertaining fights.

Thank you, thats what I mean. His fight against Shogun nearly gave me a heart attack I was so damn excited. The build up to that fight was amazing with Arona hurting Saku then beating Wand. He got beat by the good guy(Shogun) who we were all rooting for and Sherdog was on fire.

I still think Arona won the second fight with Wandy. He is mofokilla. I'd like to see him come to the UFC but White won't pay him.

I thought he beat him too. Arona deserves a rubber match to end the trilogy.

Great post. I've basically been saying the same thing you just posted for weeks. I see a lot of people call Arona boring, a blanket, etc. but you can tell from their comments that they probably haven't seen any of Arona's matches. Aside from the KO he received courtesy of Shogun and the fight against Mezger, Arona has never really been in trouble or been dominated in any of his matches (hell, he took it a bigger Fedor Emelianenko. If you cannot respect Arona as a fighter, then you're just a hater.
