Arona is back and says this about Wanderlei: "he's very limited and predictable!"

Arona recently gave an interview to Tatame's website (www.tatame.com.br). Here are the main points of the interview:

About fighting Allistar Overeem: "He's very dangerous with his knees and I hope I can take him down when he trie to hit me with a flying me. It'll be good if I take him down, because he also likes to fight on the ground, so that's good to me."

A rematch with Shogun: "I want to fight him, in the right moment. I have this fight against Overeem, and then more two other fights this year in Pride."

Wanderlei Silva
: "Fighting him again is not interesting to me anymore, I've already beat him twice. I want to get the MW belt and I'll fight who has the belt. I've heard that the winner of this fight (Arona vs Overeem) would get a title match, but there's nothing official yet."

About the GP: "Cro cop vs Wanderlei is an unpredictable fight. I hope Cro Cop doesn't get shy and throws his high kicks.

Barnett is dangerous, but Minotauro has more 'feeling' and will beat him. Barnett is dangerous standing, so I hope Minotauro takes him down."

About a possible final Wanderlei vs Minotauro:
It'll be a very good fight to Minotauro, Wanderlei is very limited and predictable, and only has strenght and physical preparation.

Now Minotauro has much more resources, he fights well standing up and has an excellent ground game. In my opinion, Minotauro will win this GP.

Paulo Filho vs Denis Kang:
"It'll be Paulão's most difficult fight, but he is unbeatable in this weight division (83kg)."

---

Wand's interview: NEW: Wanderlei Silva talks about the GP, Minotauro, Barnett, Liddell, Cro Cop ....

Thanks for the interview its interesting to read that Arona very blatantly thinks he got screwed in his last match against Wanderlei.

What he says is very true. He might be hugging Minotaro's nuts just a lil bit but hey that's his teammate and everything is pretty much on target.

seriously, that would be one thing from Barnet or someone, but Arona is more predictable than anyone except Crocop.

well to arona's defense, he never said that he himself wasn't predictable.

In his mind he beat Wanderlei twice. Interesting.
