Should Frank Mir retire?

He won tonight, but just barely, and against what should have been a can. Frank was once a good fighter but he had terrible luck and got in an accident in his prime. He obviously is no where near where he was before and seems like he doesn't even care anymore. Man did he get fat.

Ok a fighter has an intense decline in skill and fitness after a major injury. I guess retirement is pretty stupid to think of... you fucking idiot.

He hasnt declined in skill at all. He got injured and got fat. And to be honest, he isnt even in his prime age yet, and is definately young enough to heal and get back into shape.
Think about it, if he can get that leg to at least 90% and drop 35 pounds, Frank Mir could still be a force. Tonight he was clearly not half the fighter he is capable of being, without any of his athleticism or agility and crappier conditioning than normal, and he was still able to edge out an above average fighter. Back in shape, with his agility, athleticism and conditioning in tact Mir could be the champ again.

if he feels he can keep not training hard for fights he's going to get destroyed by any hw with technique and gas in their tank.

But maybe getting a W behind his belt for the first time in two years will revamp his confidence somewhat and motivate him. Seemed to me like his being out of shape had to do with confidence, and now maybe that hes got it back hes gonna get back into shape. We'll see.

Did you not see his last two fights? So, I guess he had mediocre skill back then, just like he does now.

Either get dedicated, sumo match Ricco Rodrigues, or yes... RETIRE.

By the way, Ricco looked a lot better in Tito's corner last night. I had no idea Ricco was back with Tito and Team Punishment.
