Icon2 Wandy's Hands

Wandy's hands, what do you all think? I've watched and studied many of his fights, and I see that he really has sub par boxing skills. It's like he just flings his arms at times with these wide hooks, leaving himself totally open for direct straight crosses to the face. I will be rooting for him in the event that he fights chuck, but I think chuck has a great chance of dropping him with some punches.

He throws very hard and wild punches and i've also noticed that he really relies on counter punching. Thankfully this is MMA and not boxing so against Liddell he'll be able to throw knees, punches, kicks and possibly take the fight to the ground.

STFU! this aint boxing. Wandy has KTFO many fighters with his "sub-par" hands.

I would say Wandy's hands are definitely not his strength, but they are ok. Some of his wild punches do leave him open for a KO though.

doesnt matter what it looks like as long as it gets the job done. Your boy Chuck is not very technical either.

Wanderlei has very strong punches IMO but can leave himself open. That being said everytime i've ever seen Silva rocked he has recovered VERY quickly after.

they are both sub par with their hands for mma.. good thing about majority of mma for them is that most guys don't react quick enough to capitalize on the errant haymakers..

both will be throwing bombs i think.. not a very technical fight is my prediction

not exactly a new discovery....A LOT of MMA fighters don't have very technical stand up skills...but a lot are also very effective w/ their stand up.

Who really cares...it should be a real knock-down, drag-out "slobberknocker" of a scrap. Both fighters have excellent KO power and are the antithesis of the boring L&P style...

yes sometime his gard is down when he trows his punches but first off all, wandy can take a shot and imo the more you hit him the harder he will hit back.
he feeds on getting hit
i dont worry on such details, wandy is always giving his fans a hell of a fight, that is why he is a top fighter just like fedor.
they dont ever give us a boring fight, they beat the shit out off there oponent
