Why Bisping should not drop to 185

I dont think Bisping should drop weight and move down. As far as I no he has done all his fights at 205 and is undefeated. Why would the UFC want bisping in a weight division that is already stacked. The LHW division is lacking depth. Bisping brings striking to that division and would help keep it exciting. There is also the opportunity to fight tito and or hamill. The UFC would be stupid to let him drop weight to 185 in a division that doesnt need another stud. Yes Bisping will be a stud. The idea of the matchups in the 185 division would be great. Plain and simple if Bisping pans out that divion needs him as chuck is alsmost 40.
it has just been rumoured and mentioned on here. Nothing concrete I just thought I would post to others that thought he should drop weight, why i think he shouldnt

let me say for you being such a big fan...you spelled his name wrong in your signature.

2nd - there is not much left in 185, A. Silva, Swick, and thats pretty much it that hasnt had a title shot.

i tend to agree with you hes done well at 205, but hes not exactly ripped, i dont think it would be too difficult for him to cut down to 185.. but why mess with whats working..

I can see what you're saying.....but guys like Tito, Chuck, and even Forrest are just to big for him. I would think that a fight with him and Forrest would be pretty interesting, but there are a lot better matchups for him at 185 and as far as the title.....His ONLY chance really is at 185.

Ya i think he should stay at 205. 185 is currently stacked with lots of young fighter so it would be real tough for him to get to the top there. 205 isnt nearly as stacked and the champ Chuck doesnt really have that many more years left before he retires. It'd be the best for him if he stays at LHW and waits his turn there.

Marquardt and Terrell, even Leben and Tanner, have a chance in the future, not to mention there's a line of good 185ers from TUF 3 that can make a splash.

He should do what’s best for his career. If he feels that he can drop down to 185 and still keep his strength, then that’s what he should do.

Who said he is cutting down? Las I heard Bisping is talking about bulking up. I don't know why all these Sherdoggers think that cutting weight will always be benneficial to fighters.
